Your child should have a reading book, a library book and reading record, this should record any reading your child does in school or at home. Please ensure any reading is recorded in their reading record. We encourage reading at home at least 3 times a week to embed skills and develop life long readers.
Each Monday you will also receive a weekly newsletter to outline learning tasks and the theme for the coming week. Please look out for these because they are a key source of information and communication.
Along with the newsletter we also provide the children with home learning rainbows each week as a targeted task. Wow moment rainbows are also provided to share achievements from home at school. Home Rainbows are a great way for us to work together to monitor the progress of your child's development and share success.
There is a rainbow for each of the 7 areas of development. One will be given each week as a focus.
We also will provide a Wow moment rainbow for achievements to be shared.
