A warm welcome to Year 3
A very warm welcome to our class page. This term we have taken some huge steps back in time, to a time of Neanderthals and an entirely different way of life.
We have has a fabulous Autumn term, where we discovered more about Ancient Egypt. This included the exploration of mummification and the pyramids as well as Howard Carter's discovery of King Tut and his tomb. We had a fabulous time at Manchester Museum and were able to touch real artefacts as well as investigate the life of the mummified Asru, an elite lady from the 25th - 26th Dynasty.
Please, search and explore our page to find our more about our new adventure during the Spring term. Starting with the Savage Stone Age and the way Neanderthals lived and survived. We are excited as we get ready for our trip to the Potteries museum, where we will find out more about this period in time.
Year 3 also embark on a new challenge of performing at the Recorder Festival in March.
