Our Visit to the Farm

What a fantastic day we had at the Farm! We have fed the lambs, cows, goats and pigs- some of them were very greedy! We had a great tractor ride, although it was very bumpy. Finally, we finished our day on the soft play equipment before heading back to school.

Cheep, Cheep, Cheep...

How 'egg'citing! We have being looking after some baby chicks. We loved watching the eggs hatch in the incubator. We have taken care of them and enjoyed holding them. We even got to name them: Kevin, Ed, Mary, Rosie and Belle.

World Book Day 2017

For World Book Day we dressed up as our favourite book character. Y5 came into class and read to us- which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Bear Day- Watch Me Learn

As part of our topic on bears, we had a teddy bear day. We brought our teddies into school and invited parents to join us and help with our learning. What a bear-illiant day it was!

Our Snowy Day!

What an exciting day we had in the snow at school! We made a great big snowman and used rulers to measure how deep the snow was. It was brrrrrrilliant!

Christmas Festivities

We have taken part in lots of different activities over the Christmas period. We wrote letters to Santa telling him how good we had been and sent them by putting them in the post box. We have worn our Christmas jumpers and made hats to wear at Christmas dinner. Finally, we even had a visit from Santa himself at our Christmas Party. What a great time we have had!

'Prickly Hay'- Nativity Performance

We were AMAZING on stage in our performance of 'Prickly Hay'. We worked hard to learn our lines and sing all the songs with actions. Well done Reception!

One Life Music- Spiritual Retreat Day

Dan and Emily, our visitors from One Life Music, helped us to develop spiritually. We spent time in prayer and song worshiping the Lord. We created a class booklet on Discipleship and have discussed how we can be better followers of Christ. We made a 'Romero Cross' and even drew around our feet to show our devotion to following in Jesus' footsteps!

Our visit to Meir Library

We all had an amazing time and even did 'The Conga' around the library. What fun!

Our visit from Officer McTrusty

As part of our topic 'People Who Help Us', we had a visit from Officer McTrusty. He showed us all his equipment and even let us try it on. We particularly liked seeing his car and hearing the noisy siren!
